Books are in every home and everybody has books according to his own taste and thinking. There are bundle of books too in any home those of schools going and college going boys and girls. We have recently reclaimed a DIY pallet bookshelf design out of pallet wood which we got from the outdoor dumpster.
Our neighbor tossed it into the dumpster we took it out and got this safe and sturdy DIY pallet furniture to secure the books. The idea to make this bookcase is very simple, you just need to prepare a rectangular holding frame with front side open for shelving scheme and that’s it. Finishing of this DIY pallet craft can be done in various different ways, we have finished it off by painting the shelves in red that made it much visually captivating.
Idea is much handy one to be copied at home. To get the plan for dimensions dismantle the pallets and make a pile of individual pieces to calculated the desire amount of wood.
You can disassemble the pallets by using some pallet breaker tool like pry bar or spy bar will be best choices in this case. Removing of tightly bound nails will facilitate the tearing of pallets apart.
We have given our targeted furniture a grand design with 5 DIY pallet shelving scheme which can handle a great number of books so nicely. This fine shelving plan has been made stable with wooden support underneath each side.
Store you books and further spice it up with some decorative items like faux flower pot and informative toys to get perfect embellishment of it. Rest of frame except red shelves has been while chalk painted with hands for a distressed appearance.
