The amazing environmental profile of wood is just ice on the can and now pallets are being used for outstanding outdoor projects which includes all from renovation to decoration of you outdoors! A little example of it, is this DIY pallet and nautical rope wall hanging herb planter, the addition of rope has been done to gain a loop for easy wall hanging of planter and a little piece of rope also come along bottom for decorative edging of the planter!
Build a simple cubby or box with pallets or go with one having narrower bottom as shown, for a more fancy look! Install the top arms of the planters and finally add the rope, use spray paint to enhance the visual of the planters and also to write custom letters or name of herbs over, here black spray paint has been used to do so!

It has been decided here to use as a herb planter, comes with a wooden cubby having narrower bottom which is also having extended wooden arms, a little piece of nautical rope joint the both ends and makes a loop for wall hanging!
Just fix hooks or nails over a wall area or use the already fixed ones to hang this planter on a desired wall area you need to give a fab garden light natural touch!
Give the wooden cubby with potting soil and just sow the seeds of your favorite herbs or plants in it and wait for few weeks to let the tiny plans come out!
