We were having a pallet skid in our store room full of dust which we had found on the roadside. We creatively designed a rustic DIY pallet buffet caddy out of the pallet wood to hold the eating tools while going at outdoor for eating and picnic. We cleaned the pallet wood to remove the gunk and to make it really very well looking in wooden nature. We have sanded it down with a medium or high grit of sand paper if you find it affordable then you can make use of electrical sanding tools.
We want to give handle to our caddy and for this purpose we applied a great technique. We drill the corner of a hand rubbed individual pallet piece and make a hole in it then we increased the hole by cutting it outward with a hand saw.
We cut the drilled planks from the corner to have some cool looking sharp edges which will form the handle and will fix at the center of previously made rustic box.
Here is the plan to shape up a box out of sanded down pallet planks. Make a box out of it and then add the glue at all sides to ensure the endured assembly of it.
After layering the glue on all side put it a side to be dried well, for tight holding this air tight wooden system can be used to hold the glued side for any time period you want.
Here are our previously made piece which we will fit at the center of the caddy, we have made the twins of the same piece and they will provide a great handle while we make them joined side by side.
We provided again a perfect gripping after layering the glue to the mid fixed component of caddy. We left it for sometime and then make it finish by removing the excess of edges and splinters.
After adjusting the custom built piece of caddy at the mid of DIY pallet box it came up with a very handsome storage scheme. Three equal storage sections at the front and one big one at the backside. You can easily lift it over by gripping it from the handle we made using a creative vision and thinking.
While having a barbeque treat at the outdoor it will make a complete storage of spoons, saw spoon, cutting tools and some welcome cards and tissues. You can also use this caddy to store the spices too.
There are lots of purposes that can be fulfilled by this rustic caddy delight, you can use it as a perfect and accomplished setting for coffee brewing while being at outdoor. This is much coordinating to rustic type of environment.
